Our mission
Woodhaven Unites exists to ensure that every resident has access to accurate information, meaningful opportunities to participate and confidence that community decisions are made openly, fairly and in the public interest.
Why we exist
Important decisions involving development, public funds, neighborhood plans and City policy can move quickly and become difficult to follow. Woodhaven Unites creates a reliable place where residents can see what is being proposed, read the underlying documents and participate before decisions are final.
Our principles
Independent
We are not controlled by a developer, political campaign, governmental body or another neighborhood organization.
Documented
We link claims to source records and distinguish facts, opinions, allegations and unanswered questions.
Transparent
Our meetings, governance, finances and elections are public by default.
Resident-Led
Adults who live in Woodhaven—including renters—hold the governing vote.
Who may participate
Adult residents may become voting members. A qualifying business physically located within the boundaries may designate one voting representative. Nonresident property owners, former residents and other supporters may participate as nonvoting Supporting Members.
